Super affordable. Just super authentic and good. I get the chop chop, which is an egg omelette with ham , jalapeño, onions, tomatoes and cheese. I get that with hash browns, rice and gravy plus a hot link! The liver and onions is bomb! Super run down hole in the wall type place, don't expect anything fancy. Cash only! I love coming here since it don't hurt my pockets and it tastes just like if my mom made me a omelette. Give it a try if you aren't scared lol

Some may glance at the Ho Ho Kafe in Fresno's old Chinatown and think it's just another greasy spoon in a run-down neighborhood and continue driving by. That would have been me except that my good friends invited me there for brunch. It's definitely a throwback to a bygone era and, it turns out, that's a good thing. For example, the staff knows and cares about the patrons. Many are regulars on a first name basis and engage in short, lively conversations. It's a melting pot of people. Secondly, servings are hearty, delicious, and inexpensive. The menu offers the typical American breakfasts-eggs, hash browns, toast and pancakes or Asian fare , such as chow mein with chicken, pork, beef or shrimp or egg rolls. You'll probably get out of there for under $20 a person. Need I remind you that fast food is more AND not as good quality? Plus you can go any day of the week from 7:00-2:00 in casual wear and no makeup. I'm sold on the Ho Ho!

1/11/25 Getting breakfast for tomorrow . The worker was nice. Vegetable omelet ordered with ham added with hash-browns and pancakes ordered too, The worker recommended the pancakes. I went to pick it up shortly later.. Arrived to pick up. The worker was kind. They weee packed! Must be good! Bar seating, tables and booths. All filled! They only take cash FYI! Paid for it and received with good day wishes! Appreciated! 1/12/24 Happy Sunday everyone! Breakfast split! Half of the omelet wasn't really an omelet by the way it looked. More like a scramble. Still fresh & tasty.Hash browns were good. Probably better to have the same day. Pancake was Great! I can see why they are recommended! Plump and delicious! I'm sure mother will feel the same when she gets up to have her half! Good service & Really Good breakfast! Recommended!

We came here on a winter weekend morning and the place was packed when we got in. It's not surprising given the very discounted prices that you don't normally see, unless you were back in the early 2000s/2010s. But for the price that you pay, you can get a lot of food here. We ordered veggie fried rice, French toast plate, and an egg plate for about $30 (including tip). Our friend got the hot link plate and thought it was fine. The food is pretty good, though the veggie fried rice was a little bit bland. But everything else was good diner quality. The French toast is a little bit on the eggier side but it's still solid. Everything is very very cheap compared to todays regular diners. Because of the reasonable prices, this place has a consistent stream of people especially on the weekends. Highly recommend this place for to-go or dine-in.

Cash only. Well worth the trip downtown. Historic great food and service. Cooked in front of you. Made with love. Great friendly service

PLEASE READ: I love China Town and have worked in China Town but this is my first time eating at Ho Ho Kafe... I walked in and love the vibe old dinner and was greeted with tons of smiles, I ordered breakfast with drink which was cheaper than a Big Mac combo..I was waiting and watching them cook when I noticed the CASH only sign..I told the lady I am going to walk around the corner to Central Fish to get money she said "No your food is almost ready its better hot you can get the money later"....and brought my food she trusted me.... She wanted me to eat first.......I really appreciated that...of course I left a tip.

Menu of food items xxxxxooooooxxxxxxxooooooo xxxxxoooooxxxx Good food !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not gonna lie, we chose this place just because of the ho ho in the name. We have a Chinese friend named Hahaha and when we say this spot on our phone we quickly thought of our friend. An odd combination of cuisine, what with the breakfast and chinese food, I opted for pancakes, bacon, and some of the best hashbrowns I have had in a long time. The bacon was very good as were the pancakes. Lady had the combination chowmein. She said it was OK, and added that the chicken and beef was a bit dry. She also said that it was around 50% cabbage. A cheap way to cover a plate for sure. The area where this place is located is a bit sketchy, but it is only a breakfast lunch place, no one is here much past 2:00PM. I am not sure if we will come back as we do not live in this town, but we did enjoy our stay at the little hole in the wall with the cool (to us) name.

New favorite spot. Always busy, but always quick. The food is cooked right behind the bar and it always hits. Simple but good.

The area is small. We ordered to go instead. Friendly staff. The portions are really big and fills up the plate. The place does take cash only, so make sure to bring some cash. We order Combination plate of Fried rice, Chicken chow mein and side steak. -Fried Rice combination had chicken, beef, pork and Shirmp. The portion filled up the whole pate. I felt like it needed a little more seasoning but it was still good. -Chicken Chow Mein was with Chicken and it had some veggies mixed. The noodles are orange and not yellow. It also needed a little more seasoning. I like how it's not overly oily. Usually chow Meins are oily. Would recommend to friends and family. Will return.
